Chamber Trips: Arranged Improvised Extemporaneous Compositions

“The search for a personal sound is the main engine. Improvisation is the base of my thinking Music”

… “Whether new or revisited, it doesn’t matter if they are always the same for the ‘dead’… Banality is a colossal oversight.”

Chamber Trips: Arranged Improvised Extemporaneous Compositions

To express a concept of “simple” and “poor,” I recorded all the material from and in my room (the Album title). Each composition is born from a spontaneous solo improvisation and later arranged.

“I used the following instruments and related musicians:”

Marco Pieri: Electric Guitars / Slide / Acoustic / Nylon / Guitarsynth / Glockenspiel / Bass / Tres / Percussion / Snare / Cello / Piano / Synth and Electronics.

Guest Musicians:

(Most electronic sounds are generated by synths built by the engineer G. Grossi in the 70s and played by Grossi himself and myself in impromptu home sessions, then arrange later as per procedure).

Martin Horvat: Cello
Simone Gagliardi: Snare drum
Paolo Badiini: Bass / Double Bass / Strings
Pietro Triolo: French Bagpipe 16 pp / Catalan Tarota / Chinese Flute
Carlo Giussani: Harmonica
Luca Ceribelli: soprano Sax / Efx
Gianpietro Grossi (Elettro): VCSG3 / ElettroMicrosynth / Korg-sq10
Alfredo Devincentiis: Drums
