The album “Bussoland Vol 1” originates from the incredible talent of drummer Davide Bussoleni, whose spontaneous improvisations inspired the composition and arrangements of the tracks featured. The album is divided into two parts, each with its own sonic and conceptual identity.
The first part of the album consists of a collection of five tracks that follow a classic song structure. In this section, electronics are used as a sonic substrate, creating modern and dynamic atmospheres that gradually blend into the suite. Each track in this section is designed to highlight the energy and spontaneity of Davide’s improvisations, integrating them with electronic elements to create a unique and engaging sonic experience.
The second part of the album is presented as a suite divided into seven parts. This section emphasizes the acoustic sound, defined by the interaction of five musical instruments, with a particular emphasis on Luca Ceribelli’s tenor saxophone. Ceribelli’s skill and fantastic sound add depth and complexity to the suite, making each part a rich and nuanced sonic journey.
